COVID-19 UPDATE - HADDENHAM STEAM RALLY & HEAVY HORSE SHOW 2020 POSTPONED
This is really disappointing for all of us, we know that it is the right thing to do in light of the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19. Although in years gone past, we have met and overcome many challenges, Covid-19 has proven to be the most difficult yet. The restrictions on large gatherings look likely to be in place throughout the summer and it’s clear that we’ll have to continue social distancing in one form or another for some time to come. The health and safety of everyone involved has to take precedence over anything else.
We’ve spent the last week talking to the incredible team involved in making Haddenham the special rally it is, so that they were aware of the situation in advance of this announcement. They all agree that postponing the rally is the only responsible option, and we would like to express our thanks to everyone involved for their continued support and commitment to the rally and for all the heartfelt feedback we have received.
However, the good news is that over the past week we have been working alongside our committee and volunteers to ensure that the majority of this year’s line-up will be returning to the 47th Haddenham Steam Rally next year and many have already committed to making 2021 the best rally ever.
Everyone is saddened that the Haddenham Steam Rally is not going ahead this year, but now that the difficult decision has been made and we can look forward to making next year’s event as outstanding as this year’s was going to be.
We look forward to seeing you at
11th & 12th September 2021
Stay safe and happy until then and we will see you in 2021.
